1980 Honda CB650

This is a 1980 CB650 I picked up in Northern Maryland. It was really ugly when I got it with a huge front cowl and a hard plastic storage compartment on the back. I did a quick strip of the bike leaving most things intact. I didn't plan on doing much to the bike so I started out small. I added a 1/2" thick plate to the shock mount on the swing. This raised the rear 1.5" or so. I removed the fenders and seat and built a new seat/fender setup out of foam, fiberglass and bondo. I made a narrow seat like a dirt bike would have. The idea for this bike was a gravel road explorer. I sold this bike in September 2010.
